There is always a new challenge to be faced and 2019 finds me running my own window blind business in Bury St Edmunds after being in partnership for the last 24 years!
My wife Clare, and I supported by our son David, will continue to make and fit window blinds from our existing premises in Eastern Way, Bury St Edmunds. The business will now also offer Plantation Shutters, and Awnings. We also specialise in blinds for triangular or special shaped conservatory roofs and windows.
The window blind industry has changed and evolved since I first started the business. New products, Visions blinds, motorisation, roller blind pelmets, Perfect Fit and plantation shutters are a routine part of the window blind scene, and almost didn’t exist at the beginning. And we are now driven by Child Safety legislation.
We will continue to offer the best service possible and strive to offer the right solutions for the most important part of our business-our customers.
Thank you to everybody, friends, family, customers, and customers who have become friends, who have supported me over the years. I have found your kind messages of support and kind encouragement for our new venture most uplifting.
